‘How to Get Rid of a Spider’ is a fun, little, quick read and is loosely based on a true story. There was spider spotted at a small dinner party and though the 'names' have been changed to protect the innocent, the narration is very close to the events that unfolded when that little leggy guy put everyone into a panic. The quick action of a few saved the many!
‘How to Get Rid of a Spider’ is true-to-life in many family dynamics which allows children to relate to the expressions and vocabulary found in the colorful and expressive story. The two ‘main characters’; the little girl and the spider are a delight to the children as they see how the events with the tiny spider and little girl unfold.
